Mr Sam Feat Kirsty Hawkshaw - Split
Mark this day in your diary trance-fans as its gonna be a biggy. Not only does Mr Sam deliver the latest single "Split" featuring the lovely Kirsty Hawkshaw from his excellent 2006 artist album "Lyteo" but Maelstrom Records also see fit to drop a stunning remix album "Lyteo – Interpretations" featuring numerous reworks of said BIG album from 2006.

Following the heavy impact of "Lyteo" Mr Sam is one of dance music’s most respected producers and currently one of the most sought-after remixers on the scene, so it comes as no surprise that this release is getting the full support from Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and Judge Jules all of which are huge fans of Mr Sam’s work.
Kirsty’s trance credentials are rock solid, having working with many a big gun on the trance scene Kirsty joins Mr Sam for their second collaboration to revamp album track "Split" for 2007.

its all about distances which separate the souls , hearts and hopes and also the distances which let u build castles in the skies and when u realize u`ll find all of ur castles falling apart coz the fancy clouds which was carring ur castles is not that strong to hold ur dreams up, and in the end what left for u to have , is to watch these clouds vaporized and striking u back with the falling parts of ur broken dreams to find urself running for a shelter so the dreams which lifted u up one day dont put u down in the presence...........( this is a dedication to myself ) |

Summer 1998,Dinand Woesthoff meets Dennis van Leeuwen in the beachclub Mecca of which Dinand is then one of the owners.Dennis is doing a gig there with his band Er was eens....
They discover that they share the same passion and thoughts about music which lays the base for a new band.Drummer Cyril Directie,bassplayer Aram Kersbergen and singer/guitarist Tony Cornelissen are asked to join the band and they found "Citizen Kane"Later it turns out that there is already a band in Sweden with that name so they change it to Kane.First gigs are booked real soon and that certainly doesn't turned out wrong,they catch the attention of the right people from the recordcompany BMG who believed that there was more in Kane.They get a recorddeal and some more gigs like supporting the Swedisch rockband Kent.the song RAIN DOWN ON ME was released in MAY 2002 and mixed by DJ TIESTO in 2006
